Flowy Floral

Floral patterns are a great fit for the summer.  I love to always have different floral patterns to wear throughout the summer. 

This long maxi floral dress is from Forever 21, I got it on sale a while back for less than $20 ( Forever 21 sales rack can be a hit or miss, but always check it out before you leave).  The fabric of the dress is silky which feels nice against your skin. In the summer I always try to find flowy dresses versus tight dresses that ill stick to my skin. The fabric is also important, cotton can feel much hotter versus a silky fabric. 
The great thing about this dress is the two slits on each end which makes walking very easy. The off the shoulder of the dress created some elegance to the piece.  I paired the dress with my favorite nude strap heels ( definitely help add a couple inches). I got lucky and did not have to hem the dress after I wore heels. One of the many downsides to being short is having trouble finding maxi dresses that work with your height. You can pair this dress with a nice collar necklace, bracelets, and/or even a pair of dangly earrings. 

This dress can be great for a brunch or even a nice date out. I wore this dress to friends and family soft opening at Nobu.
