SHEIN Haul/Review

Helloo Lovelies, 

I’ve been meaning to do a blog post on SHEIN for awhile. Here is it! 

For those that do not know, SHEIN is an online boutique store where all items are manufactured in China. They have a wide variety of styles and selections, some similar to the brand you see every day. The main purpose of SHEIN is to replicated clothes that you see at a high-end store for a fraction of the price. 

Over time I have created some tips from trial and error on the best way to shop at SHEIN. 

• Always check reviews and only reviews with pictures.

  • I learned to only buy items that have reviews with pictures because this allows you to be able to get a better idea of how the fabric looks, how close the design is to the picture shown online, and lastly how the clothing fits different body size.

  • You can buy items without reviews but in my opinion, you are just throwing a dart with your eyes closed and hoping it lands on a dot.

• SHEIN Flash Sale

  • There will always be a flash sale, and every day the flash sale items switch. I would always check that out first because there are some cute items for an even cheaper price.

• SALES

  • I always like to shop their sales because it is a sale on top of a sale.

• Jeans/Leggings?

  • I would not recommend buying jeans and leggings from SHEIN. I have read reviews and most of the leggings are not curved/stretch to fit, they are instead just made straight. Jeans is a gamble as well because the overall make of jean is very hard to replicate with such cheap fabric.

• SWIMSUITS are the best

  • In all my SHEIN purchase and my friends, swimsuits have always been a good buy. They have so many styles for such a cheap price. The qualities are always sturdy. The only issue is they tend to only make thong/super cheeky swim bottoms and some tops do not come with padding. Please read the reviews and looks at pictures beforehand!

• International shipping

  • Keep in mind most items are shipped from China, if you are looking for an item for an event i would suggest ordering it 2-3 weeks in advance to ensure that you will get it in time.

The overall quality of SHEIN items does vary. Clothing that seems to be thing online will be very thin in person. The fabrics for most items are cheap but you do have to keep in mind that is what you pay for. All my purchase in the past has last me through many wears. 

Lastly, I have found convenience on downloading the app because it makes scrolling through all the items much easier. Do not forget to sign up for Coupons, for that extra discount.

My most recent haul I bought a total of 8 items ( only 6 are pictured ).

• Front knot white ruffle sleeve crop

• Front knot Baroque print crop

• Lace up black crop bandeau top

• Red wrap one-piece swimsuit

• Red leave print one-shoulder bikini

• Tie-Dye Shirt

• Red/white one piece swimsuit

Below are pictures of me wearing each item together. The tie-dye shirt was not picture because it was for an event and the red/white once piece swimsuit did not fit properly ( there was no reviews but I risked it for the biscuit. I lost the biscuit).
