Yee-Haw ( Simple Rodeo Looks)
Hellooo Lovelies,
It has been a crazy couple of months and now we are in 2020! I have been super busy with work and traveling but now that I am settled down, back to the blogging/styling board. Now that we are in March, it is finally rodeo season in Texas! Yee-Haw!
I am a very bad Texan because I do not own any cowboy boots :( but that does not stop me from creating my simple versions of rodeo outfits. If you do not have cowboy boots or cowgirl wear, do not worry because you can still dress for the occasion.
When dressing for the rodeo stick with warm colors but you can also add in your bright color. Blue jeans are always great, especially the bootcut/flared ones. I would stick with white and brown color palettes as well. Florals are a great style to add on and paisley designs are perfect!
For my outfits, I kept it simple with the first one being a white tank top with a white floral cover-up. I paired the tops with ripped flare royal blue jeans. Lastly, for my shoes, I wore nude open-toe wedges. I would have preferred low cut boots but I only had my high black boots. I would try to stick with boots or cover toes because the rodeo can get pretty dirty walking around dirt and mud.
My second outfit consists of a black tank top tied up with a long plaid cover-up and the same blue ripped flare jeans. I kept the shoes the same as well. Plaid is a great piece to have when going to the rodeo. The long sleeves are perfect for chillier nights.
If you are going on a hotter day, I would stick with shorts, I paired my brown suede shorts with a cropped open shoulder eyelet fabric white top. I also paired it with flared green pants.
The best outfits are rompers/jump suits because it is only one piece BUT the down side is when you use the restroom. I wore a denim jumpsuit with a leather jacket for my rodeo date! I paired it with a black and silver belt around the waist to create some body shape ( in reality to hide my fried food belly ).
These are very simple looks, feel free to stick around the color palette and add in your touch with accessories are other pieces.
